a morning swim...

Kyle was off being a groomsmen all last night and today, so the girls were with me and Grandmother & Grandaddy for the day... until wedding time anyway.

We got up, had breakfast (let me just tell you the show that these girls have been putting on in the breakfast room at the hotel so far...), and then went out to the pool.

Kyler, the water bug, loved every second of it and cried when she realized we were going inside. She did so good and was so brave! She only got a little skiddish when Grandmother dunked her...

Meanwhile...

Well, I managed to get Kate in the pool once with a death grip on me. And eventually she put her feet in a little bit.

But there was water in a fun bottle to drink...

And let's be honest... aren't you supposed to lay out, look cute and snack by the pool anyway?? This is a girl after my heart!

And then it was nap time...
