The Johnston's

Finally wedding day! This is a day I have been VERY. VERY. Nervous about for months. I was just hoping things would go smoothly... with the girls.

I'm happy to report, I really had NOTHING to worry about. They were total champs... walked right down the aisle to their daddy, and Kerrington also did... they were the best flower girls!!!

Only pic I have of Josh kind of with either girl... chattin' up his little buddy Kate...

We totally hid out in the not-completely-sound-proof cry room most of the pre-wedding and during the wedding except for our one appearance. It was a struggle keeping the girls entertained. I'm including these pics because Kate's progression of facial expressions crack me up...

And this girl {Kyler}, she was totally buttering up her Grandmother like nothing I've ever seen!!!

My most precious flower girls...

These are several pics that the professional photographer got of the girls...

Kyler & our best nanny ever, Ms. Kasey...

The wedding was a success... Josh & Kasey got married, and my girls didn't destroy anything!

Although, on the way to the reception, Grandmother and I had to make a stop at Target for some safety pins because I managed to snap the elastic in Kate's tutu trying to get her in the carseat. Oops.

But we made it... and the reception was beautiful. Cocktail hour was a little bit of a miss with the girls, but it didn't last long by the time we got there. And lucky for me and KG, we were seated at a wedding party table, and the girls were with Grandmother & Grandaddy... not sure if any of them enjoyed their meal, but hopefully it wasn't too horrible...

I can only imagine Kate is trying to tell Kasey thank you for letting her get all fancy dressed...

Mr. & Mrs.

An A&M basketball cake like any good player should have...

The girls left with Grandmother & Grandaddy after dinner, and I had to laugh at their table... nice centerpiece, and empty raisin boxes. Awesome.

Before the girls left, we had some photo booth action...

Even Grandaddy & Grandmother...

I have to say, it was a HUGE sigh of relief once the girls were safely out of there! I thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the evening, and even got a little dancing out of KG.

The next morning, our two monkeys were up and ready to go!

Once we got home, I let the girls open their flower girl gifts from Ms. Kasey... I'd say they were a hit!!!

It was a weekend full of WORK. But totally worth it. It is just too fun to watch your friends and people you adore get married. And Josh & Kasey are just one of those couples... they just make perfect sense.
