I'll try anything twice...

This weekend was the 2nd Annual Harmon Family Picnic. So, Saturday afternoon we headed to Aledo for some fun and food.

***One small note... it was 75 at our house with a high of 53 in Aledo. With north winds. So cold. But somehow I just couldn't really believe it was that cold. But it was. Oops.

We got to the picnic and there was a bounce house, petting zoo and pony rides for the kids. They also had a live band and the always yummy fajitas from Uncle Julios.

The girls loved the petting zoo. Especially the ramps into the trailer. Kate wanted to hold the bunny. They played in the bounce house until their noses were so cold. They also played inside and rode on all the cars thru the crowded house. That didn't make me nervous at all as they crashed into people. They also loved the decorative wooden apples... which I should have realized since the girls have been on such an apple kick.

Yes, I sampled both cobblers. Amazing.

Possibly Kate's first juice box...

You better believe Kate didn't wait a second trying to get some of her daddy's coffee...

We managed to stay until about 8pm, which was much later and longer than last year. It was cold and dark and we were played out (especially me). So, we loaded up the girls and headed to Ft. Worth to stay with Uncle Drew!
