antiquing

So, twice a year there is a big antique fair in Round Top and the surrounding little communities. Usually some of KG's family comes down and does some shopping for a week, and we go out and spend a day... usually just an evening. It has been a while since they have made the trip, but they did this fall! So, we loaded up the girls and went to spend the whole day!

We got there just in time for lunch, and then we were off antiquing. We made several stops and I managed to find two S's for my S collection. We ended the day in Round Top, and fed the girls dinner at a table in the square. We all had dinner together, and the girls were DONE by that time, so we loaded up and headed home!

We had a great time and the girls were terrific! And they got some quality time with PaPa & Grandmommy, Uncle Mike & Aunt Debi.

Little EK is getting a little big for her britches if she thinks she's driving! (Actually, we got in the car to give the girls a bottle and let the a/c blow and cool them down a little. I'm certain one day her daddy won't let her behind the wheel so easily.)

EK spent alot of time with Aunt Debi... I think she kept Debi entertained pointing and talking the whole time!

And OH the excitement when we came across this little dog...

KM liked this chair, but it just doesn't go with our decor...

I promise KM was having more fun... she does love riding on your shoulders. Even though she looks totally unimpressed in this pic.
