So, Vegas. I love it. KG and I took a trip for his 30th, so I only thought it fair that we went for mine as well. Turns out one of my BFFs was going to turn 40 within a few weeks, so we made it a joint celebration!
So, we left the girls with Grandmother Kathy and away we went.
First surprise... my super BFF, Drew, got a limo to pick us all up and take us to the airport in Houston. Way to rock my world at 730 in the morning. And way to start the trip out right.

Birthday girls... mimosa's in hand (and yes, glasses... the week before we left, I got an eye infection and my vision was so blurry, so I was stuck to glasses as long as I could)

AIRPORT!
{Drew, Andrew & Tami, rockin the sequins!}
KG & SS, baby free!!!
Andrew has the best hats... and I always steal them.
BFF Drew & SS on the plane, ready for take-off!!
WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS!!! (pardon grumpy pants...)
Limo Ride #2... Andrew so kindly hooked us up with a limo transfer to our hotel from the airport once we landed. And did I mention he had a red rose for me and Tam? So sweet.

Bday girls again... and for the record, Tami put on her wedges and made me look like a shorty.
Our sweet hotel... we stayed at Aria in the City Center. It was amazing. Our hotel rooms had little touch screens that could do everything... operate the TV, turn lights off and on, OPEN THE CURTAINS... all while laying in bed. Amazing.
Lobby shot...
Outside...
Uh... yum. I can't even tell you about the delicious chocolate croissants.
Our first night we headed down to New York New York... obligatory pic of the jelly bean Statue of Liberty.
Party ready!
Night view from our hotel window...
KG at the gaming center in Caesar's
a view of the Palms (where KG & I stayed on our first Vegas trip) from the City Center tram
Bellagio gardens in an America theme...
Lunch in Venice (or the Venetian if you wanna get technical...)
{Tami, Andrew}
Caprese salad... my all time favorite
This bar "NUMB" in Caesar's... I thought they had the coolest lights.
Monday night we went to the Palms for dinner and then checked out a few of their nightclubs...
At dinner we got the "Junk Food Platter" for dessert... it came with a giant pile of cotton candy. I can't remember the last time I had cotton candy, but it was amazing.

Birthday girls!!!

Apparently ghostbar just closes whenever they decide to... which was shortly after this picture was taken and shortly after a girl kinda caught her face on fire. Bummer.

Eiffel Tower pic...
Amazing in the Cosmopolitain...
The front of the Crystals... shopping!
And the view of the strip from Crystals...
Tuesday night we were off to see KA, which was amazing. And afterwards to the ice bar, which turned out to be the coolest thing...
All fancied up...

Minus 5...
Totally amazing bar where EVERYTHING is made of ice. You have to put on these big parkas and boots and wear gloves inside. The glasses are made of ice, you sit on ice... so fun.
After we left there, we headed to the Cosmopolitain, which is my new favorite hotel in Vegas. They have an AMAZING bar in the lobby...
This was the night that for some reason it was decided that we should stay up all night. The only thing I got out of that is that I am TOO OLD to stay up all night. But the proof...

This is how most of our days started...
Wednesday was our last full day and night in Vegas. Staying up all night the night before left us a little tired, so we were gonna just have an early night. Things changed when the boys found a Lord of the Rings slot machine...
We did head out to see the Bellagio fountains just before the cut off for the night...
Another amazing trip to Vegas!!!
{KG & SS... about to get in the limo to head to the airport, fly home, and then get in another limo home}
A few random things...
1. chocolate crossiants. I'm addicted.
2. The 6 of us feel like we should only travel in limos from now on.
3. I have amazing friends.
4. Vegas is amazing. Everytime.
5. I had so much fun... I had been planning this trip since before the babies were born. And it got me through some middle of the night feedings and some beat down workouts at the gym. All worth it.
