If you know me at all, you know that I luv all things The Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor Pad related. And I participate in a Monday evening after show conference call with my Bach BFF, Keisha. We discuss, analyze, dream about the show and the season. Once upon a time long ago, we used to watch it together (back in my Dallas living days). Now it is phone calls only.
Until now.
Being a full time, stay at home mom does have its perks. One of those is that I can go wherever I want, whenever I want.
So, I decided to head to Dallas for the finale of The Bachelorette. Good news... they had "Men Tell All" on Sunday night before the finale. So I went for both nights.
Luckily, I have an awesome sister-in-law who understands the greatness of this show, and she let me and my crazies (the girls) crash at her house for two nights.
Sunday the girls and I arrived, and they got to play with their Aunt Crystal, Uncle Shane and Sadie... more proof that EK LOVES animals.

I mean, have you ever seen so many smiles??? Sadie was brave enough to get close to the girls, which delighted EK (unlike Molly who won't come close).

KM was intrigued, but also loved the comfort of Aunt Crystal's lap...
A little bit of bravery...
And this is the reason that Molly's food and water are locked up in our home office... can't keep this little bug out of them!!!
So, Sunday night Crystal and Shane had some of their Bachelorette watching friends over, and they graciously hosted my friend Keisha also. Keisha got to the house early enough to play with some babies, and actually helped me put them to bed. Somehow I didn't get a single picture though... and I'm really sad about that.
Monday morning Crystal and I loaded up the girls to go meet their cousin Philip and his wife Lorraine (they were married in Mexico a couple of years ago and have finally moved back to the US) for a late breakfast at Cracker Barrel.
KM spent some quality time with her Aunt Crystal...
But was of course engaging in conversation as well...
EK spent some time getting to know Lorraine (who made a friend for life by letting EK play with her EARRINGS!!!).
Funny story... at this point, it had been a few days since the girls had seen KG. We were standing in line to pay, and KM lunged at Philip and said "dada". I'm pretty sure she really thought he was her daddy... I can see the resemblance for sure, but I thought it was pretty sweet. I think Philip was a little shocked though!!

And Monday night was the finale... Crystal & Shane had a big group of friends over for what smelled like an amazing dinner, and they offered to watch the girls for me. I put them to bed, and then I got to watch the finale with my Dallas girls, Mo & Keish!
It was a great trip to Dallas!!! But we won't even go into who Ashley picked on the finale and why I soooo would have picked Ben (hello, he lives at a winery in Sonoma)!!
