Family Ski Trip

We spent a week in Snowmass, Colorado with KG's family. It was quite a week. We had fun hanging out with everyone, but the girls had an interesting trip. They slept pretty good at night, took terrible naps, and EK decided she didn't really want to eat. I kept track and she was only eating 17-20 ounces in a 24 hour period, which is NOT enough for her. But as soon as we got home she corrected her ways. Maybe the altitude???
At any rate, the girls got to spend lots of time with all of their aunts, uncles, cousins and Grandmother and Grandaddy, too!!!

Brace yourself for tons of pictures...

Grandaddy plays his guitar for Caden all the time... and this week the girls got a taste of it. Grandaddy & KM
Grandaddy with EK
A little morning time on the steps...
Caden really wanted EK to sit in the carseat (maybe so he could have her bumbo)... so she's sitting in her sister's seat that he brought over for her. But EK was a good sport, even though the carseat is NOT her favorite place.
Sweet time with Grandaddy and Grandmother
EK lost interest, but Grandaddy pulled out the guitar and KM stayed and watched forever.
Grandaddy & KM being buddies
Aunt Crystal & KM... the girls both had lots of love time with Aunt Crystal!!!
Grandmother & EK, the non-eater
KM & Grandmother's new trick...
KM was soooo proud of herself and would just laugh and smile every time.
One night Caden arranged us all on the couch. It started with just Grandmother, Grandaddy and Aunt Crystal, but then he incorporated me and his mom. And then he moved to the end to copy his Aunt Crystal when the couch started getting a little full. Sweet boy!
These are just adorable to me... Caden played with EK and she just thought he was so funny. I'm sure those days are just beginning!
Even a sweet little love and attention for KM
Morning playtime!
Again... KM was mesmerized by the guitar!
The girls...
We worked out a plan and went out one morning and had a girls ski day. It was so much fun. I love these girls and am so proud to have SIL's like them. And so glad we have a MIL that is game for girl time!

See what I mean about Aunt Crystal time???

Grandmother & KM...
And don't miss out on that awesome fire we had going All. Week. Long.
Aunt Crystal & EK...
The best thing about this picture is this is how EK has decided to eat lately... arm over her eyes. It's pretty stinkin' cute.
Babies on the Spot.
Really couldn't resist this pic... my SIL, Kristen with her baby, Tate.
Although... he's not much of a little baby anymore...

CUTE BABY FACES AHEAD

There are SEVERAL of these pics... but I just loved the progression...
{KM, Tate, EK}
KM made it a habit to fall asleep on shoulders during our vacation... soooo sweet, but soooo hard to break when we got hom.
Aunt Crystal & KM
Me & EK... she was really excited about her snowsuit.
KM seemed to handle it a bit better...

Our little family in Aspen...
I'm sure the first of many family pictures there. (See how I couldn't pick just one???)

I wanted babies in snowsuits pictures... babies did not.
So, the girls wore their velour jumpsuits one day, but Aunt Crystal decided that EK was hot (which she really probably was, she's so hot-natured), so this is how she spent the day... And actually, only kept the jacket on for a bit, pretty quickly she spent the day in her jumpsuit pants only. Oh well, guess you better do it while you can EK... pretty soon shirts aren't an option.
Cute babies in diapers & bibs.
Grandaddy with a snuggly KM
And Grandmother with a rare snuggly moment with EK... she was pretty cute the way she burrowed her nose into Grandmother. Not something EK does often or ever.
On our last day in Aspen, the girls (Crystal, Kristen & I) went to lunch in Aspen at my FAVE pizza place. My deal with KG was that I take a baby... so KM came to lunch with us! (And here she is wearing her entire velour jumpsuit.)

And there you have it. Our week in Aspen. Definitely not the most relaxing trip there, but definitely a memorable one.

Our whole family. :)
