The babies and I headed to Houston for a day with my friend Karie and JJ. We didn't get there until a little later because the girls actually slept until 8am and I took full advantage and slept until 8am also!!!
We got to Karie's house and fed babies. Then we headed to a yummy lunch for us at an Italian place. JJ joined us a little later and we actually spent the whole afternoon at the restaurant passing babies around. KM had a bit of a meltdown and it was rough during the middle, but I eventually got her calmed and to sleep.
Of course, I waited a little too long to leave and we got stuck in Houston traffic. The girls weren't really fans of that, but they hung in there and we stopped on 290 for bottles (of course, I won't tell you that I fed Kate over the car seat while we were stuck in traffic... maybe not the safest thing, but since we weren't really moving and she was NOT happy, I made it work).
But I loved seeing my girls... I miss them so much and can't wait to head back to Houston again. It was totally worth the crazy babies. :)
