A trip to Austin

So, my doctor thought it would be a good idea for us to go to Austin to see a "specialist"... basically someone who could do a higher level ultrasound just to make sure everything looked good with our little girls. Away we went.

We got to Austin and saw our sweet babies. Their weights were estimated at 2lbs 2ozs and 2lbs 11ozs. This put the little one in the 35% percentile and the "chunker" in the 60% percentile ("chunker" is a complete joke between KG and I... and I don't even know which one weighed more). But most importantly, everything looked good! And this doctor said he could say with about 99% confidence that I wouldn't be going into labor anytime in the next couple of weeks. KG and I felt really good about that, because that will get us to about 30 weeks at least!!! YAY BABIES!!

Not many great pictures from this trip... we came home with just two and they were of the same girl. But it was pretty good, so here it is:

So lately KG has been watching a lot of shows like "Man vs Food" and he wanted to try a BBQ place outside of Austin. It was a little out of our way, but we headed to Lockhart, the "BBQ Capital of Texas."

Seriously, the whole town smelled like BBQ, which is not a bad thing. And they had such a pretty courthouse...

We decided to try out Black BBQ, and it was pretty stinkin' good. If you are ever near Lockhart, you should definitely stop by and make sure you get some mac n cheese!!
