A weekend in Gville

The same weekend as the shower, KG and I spent the whole weekend at my parent's house. With my dad gone, the yard was a bit out of control, so KG cranked up the lawn mower while mom and I were at the shower. Turns out, he got a little more than he bargained for when the deck of the thing fell off. He went back out in the evening to get it back to the barn and he had a little more help than he probably would have liked...

Molly also turns into a burr mess when we go to my parents. It took KG and I about 30 minutes to cut and brush them all out after she escaped through the fields and yard on Saturday afternoon. But she survived. And then KG gave her a bath the next morning before we left. Mom says she was shivering, so she wrapped her up and snuggled... spoiled little Molly.

It was a nice weekend away and I got my mom to help me cut out both girls' dust ruffles and two crib sheets. So at least I've started the process...
