SNOW in COLLEGE STATION??!?!

Yes, that's right... it is SNOWING!!!
KG and I joke that we live in tropical College Station (back from when I lived in Arctic Dallas where it was always colder)... but not today! This morning when we woke up our cars were covered in the ice-snow that is typical of Texas. It wasn't much, but it was fun to see all the grass covered in white on the way to work. KG was excited... since he works at home, he normally stays in a t-shirt and shorts all day, but not today. He jumped up and started getting dressed and said he needed to get outside to play in the snow! When I came out to go to work, he had drawn a big "SS" in the snow on the hood of my car. And he tells me after I left, he made a snowball and threw it into the street.
This afternoon though... it started coming down. See for yourself...

Our house and front yard in snow!
From our front door, looking out at the neighborhood...
see how white the roof of the house is!
Kyle is standing at the front door... look at all the snow!
My lone pink flower... something tells me it may not be pink much longer.

In the backyard... before it really started coming down.

I love snow! We had a freezing rain of sorts on Tuesday afternoon/evening, but nothing that really stuck anywhere. It is fun that you got snow in the tropics! :)
