the Pumpkin Patch

This afternoon we took the girls to The Pumpkin Patch. I think it will be a tradition for us until the girls don't want to go anymore. Last year we went to a different one that was basically just pumpkins... this year, we stepped up our game.

There were animals (including a rooster who kept crowing), lots of pumpkins of all sizes, a maze of hay, a giant spider, and lots of photo props.

The girls were a hoot, and not real excited about leaving, but we headed to IHOP for dinner and that seemed to do the trick (love any place were kids eat dinner free). And yes, Kate is dipping her french fries in syrup... don't judge.

Any day with school and dirt and animals and syrup DEFINITELY ends in a bath. And any day with all of those things DEFINITELY ends with a glass of wine for momma.

It's almost Halloween!!!!!!
