Happy Halloween

I really think this was my best Halloween so far! The girls were so much fun and really loved trick or treating. I loved every minute of it.

We took our official Halloween costume photos on the bench with the light up pumpkins...

After those pictures, we pretty much just ran around out front while neighbors were getting home.

The girls LOVE this rock in our neighbors yard, and they are nice enough to never mind the girls playing on it. And we were joined by a little ladybug from down the street!

Then it was trick or treating time! The girls used these cute bags they got for their birthday and off we went. 

This was the first house we went to, and luckily we know these neighbors. When they opened the door, the girls just walked right in! That was a concept that was really hard for the girls to grasp and we had to chase the girls down in almost every house that opened the door for us!

But they quickly got the hang of "trick or treat" and getting candy. Kate usually said "trick or treat" and Kyler usually was the follow up of "thank you."

One last stop... our neighbors across the street are the best, and they are always sooo sweet to our girls. Kym let the girls pick out as much candy as they wanted, until mean mom had to cut them off. HA.

We had a little sucker snack outside because the girls couldn't wait and the neighborhood was still hoping.

Once we got inside, we let the girls have several other treats... smarties and nerds. I let them enjoy it tonight, because they won't be seeing any of those candies again!

The girls were up late, but just had SO MUCH FUN. It was a blast and I'm already excited about next Halloween!

***This house handed out bags of pretzels. BORING!
