Dove Weekend

We had a fun weekend having some family time!

We started our Friday morning off with breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Things like this are definitely perks of having a work from home daddy that we love!!!

Occasionally though, we have to let daddy work, so the girls and I headed out for some park time! Most Friday morning involve a trip to the park for us if we are home and the weather is nice.

Kyler gave out on our hike around the park, so she did some riding!

After naps we headed to Gville for some fun. And mainly because Daddy wanted to do some dove hunting on the first morning.

But we got there in time to feed the horses at the barn with Pappy, which maybe Kate's favorite thing to do.

The girls were out there with Pappy and Daddy, and when I got out there, this is what I found.
Pappy assured me that he had JUST put fresh water in the trough. Kyle said he turned his back for a second to get Kate out of the way, and Kyler jumped in. She is SO the water baby!

And this is how you have to make the trip back to the house when you get out of the water trough.

Pappy & KG headed to my grandparents for a little dove hunting Saturday morning.

And after the hunting, they went on in to Hamilton and watched the parade. Hamilton always has a big festival opening weekend of dove season. KG sent me a pic from the parade and said "This is your float." Guess I need to lay off the Sonic trips...

Hunter Daddy having some snuggle time with Kyler.... of course, as soon as I pulled out the camera, she started getting up.

Gotta love snack time at YaYa's...

Sunday morning we went to Cowboy church with YaYa & Pappy.

At Cowboy church it is okay for you to sit on the ground and play with your mom's keys and purse. And its also okay to wear your Dora shoes.

When we got home, KG finally agreed that it was time to work on some pumpkin beer...

And I agreed on cheese & champagne for dinner. Or at least, that's what I had. Who knows what KG had. :)
