a change is coming...

It was kind of a big day in our house, but it started out pretty normal...

Then we headed to lunch at Ninfas... I ordered the girls quesadillas and nachos to see if they would eat either. And...

Kyler ate refried beans. And some rice. But she really doesn't appreciate the whole fork thing. So thumb for refried beans.

And Kate, well, she ate chips and salsa. Only. And we were all ready to go, and she was still eating...

And this is where the big day comes in... several months ago, we broke down and decided it was time for a new couch. We loved the one we had, but it just wasn't going to make it much longer. And we finally got the call (after 90+ days) that our new couch was in. So, it was time to say good bye. Have to say, its a little sad. KG got that couch for Christmas in 2003. I remember going all over BCS with him looking for the perfect couch. And it has served us well... and put in many, many Xbox hours.

But we needed it gone. So I put it on craigslist this afternoon around 2pm, and it was out of the house by 7pm.

Of course, we opened it up and let the girls play... 

Of course, bed time Dora wasn't as comfy, but we made do with pillows and a pallet made by KG...
