Our Friday...

Today my sweet hubs was going to give me the afternoon "off" and I was running off to Houston for an afternoon/evening of shopping and eating with Tami.... so, for the morning, the girls and I got out of the house and had some quality time.

I love this pic. It is so representative of now. The girls want to be like me in some ways... but especially when it comes to drinking from a big cup like mine. So before we headed to the park, I stopped and got the 3 of us Sonic drinks (I feel many more all girl drink stops at Sonic are in my future...). The girls just had water, but you know how great that Sonic ice makes everything!!! The other thing about this pic... Kate's little puppy in the background. Puppy & Bubby are always around these days!

Let me tell you how this kid loves to steal Momma's drink... so she was livin' it up with her own cup!

And there is always the point when the girls run off. This park is perfect... it is on this pretty isolated road, and set back off the road. Behind the playground there is just a big open field and they can go as far as they want and I can still see them. It is perfect!

Lucky for me, the slide faces out to the field and it makes quite a perfect place to laze while the girls run crazy. #Mom of the Year

So, nap time came and I headed out. Throughout the evening, I got a few updates...

Kate was trying to get IN the house...

Apparently there was some blanket playing as well...

So goes dinner with dad...
