D and FW

It has been a long couple of days... but this weekend was the bachelor party of one of KG's best friends, and our old roomie. :)  We had decided to leave the girls with my parents, and while KG was bachelor partying, I would go to FW to see my BFF at his new life/job/city...

And so by the time we got to DFW, and I dropped off KG, and sat thru some awful traffic, I was exhausted... physically and emotionally.

But I was starving.

So Drew introduced me to the best buffalo chicken pizza I have ever even thought of eating. It was amazing. Seriously.

He showed me the purple beergarita that he loves...

And we finished up at a place with very interesting drinks... mine was very good...

but I maybe had two sips before...

I FELL ASLEEP. I seriously could NOT keep my eyes open after the last few days. Luckily, Drew was nice enough to let me be lame and call it a night.

The next night was all about timing... lucky for me, Drew was going to a post-wedding dinner party for the lovely Rob & Lea (remember their wedding in April...), and I got to tag along!!!

And before KG made it to FW on Sunday, Drew took me to TCU and showed me all the sights... I have to admit, it is a pretty campus.

Of course no tour would be complete without athletic facilities...

There is still a little work to be done on the stadium, before kick-off!

It was a great weekend, but I am toasted.

KG had a good time also... played golf and had dinner at Bob's. But of course, in a group of all boys, who takes pics??
