We missed Christmas with the Muns family on Christmas Day, so we wanted to take the girls to Dallas and see Mammas and PopPop at least.
We lucked out though because the whole family was gathering on Thursday night to celebrate PopPop's 80th! It was a great evening, and we were so happy to be there to celebrate and see the family!

We stayed with Uncle Shane & Aunt Crystal, but they had to work on Friday. Boo. But Uncle Shane met us out for breakfast still. KG & the girls and I did a little ski clothes shopping, and took naps, and played around town for most of the day. We had lunch at a burger place in Allen (the girls did work on some french fries). And I even let them have forks...

Right next to the burger place was a park, and we decided to let the girls run around and play for a while. They loved it. There was a maze the shape of Texas... pure fun!

One of the best parts... they had a train car and the steps leading into it were big fun. Too bad there were alot of other bigger kids who didn't mind running over the little ones. Still, loads of fun. For the girls. Not mom and dad.

Kyler did manage to get inside and scope out some toys. Some big kids were playing with them...
But she showed them who was boss!
After all the fun, we went back and had another nap. Aunt Crystal came home from work and she and I went for pedicures. Then we met the girls and KG & Uncle Shane at Mammas & PopPop's house for a little belated Christmas present opening!
It was pretty fun, and the girls remembered what was happening with presents. They had so many fun gifts (even a few birthday gifts from some special aunts)!!!
They got these cute little hats and wanted to put them on immediately. Uncle Shane so kindly held up a mirror so they could check them out.

After all the fun, we went for a yummy dinner at Luby's! It was late and the girls were beat... which meant it really wasn't that relaxing of a meal (they didn't eat and there was some serious food throwing and screaming), but we all survived!
I am so sad I didn't get a picture of the girls with Mammas & PopPop, but I'm so glad we got to have a little Christmas with them!!!
