Oh. Christmas Eve. It is ALWAYS crazy, but somehow with little girls it is much crazier. I'm looking forward to crazier being a good thing... like when they understand a little bit more and know what Christmas is. Not just the constant rushing around, staying up late and having major meltdowns (the girls or me).
Christmas Eve is spent with the Spencer family. There is quite a production, but this year there were some changes made.
For starters, we had the big Christmas Eve celebration in the morning. 10am. Breakfast and a SELECT group of presents. It went really quickly.
KM & a little love from her Aunt Crystal...
EK having a little play time with Aunt Debbie, Caden & Mac
Sweet Christmas Kate
I just couldn't pick one of these pics... KM and her great PaPa looking at the horse pictures...
I'm obviously not very good at narrowing down pics...
Grandmother & Grandaddy with their 4...
{Caden, Grandmother, KM, EK, Grandaddy, Tate}
Tate was getting some PaPa time... EK just wanted his puffs.
And finally smuggled herself into PaPa's lap...
Man, check out all these sweet kiddos...
{Wyatt holding Kyler, Mac, Avery holding Tate, Audrey holding Kate, Caden, Haley holding Luke}
And I just couldn't help myself...
Look at these crazy little cousins... Not sure what they were up to, but I have a feeling that won't be the last time.
And the present opening!
Kyler was pretty content just to carry the bags around...
Kate watching the big girls open their gifts...

So, after all that fun, everyone went home for their own Christmas Eve activities. For our group, that meant lots of little kid naps. My SIL, Crystal and I went and did a little shopping, and the boys did their own shopping. Grandmother stayed with the napping girls. Once Caden & Tate woke up, they came over and we had our own little Spencer Christmas.
Little Kate got bejeweled by Aunt Crystal...
The girls LOVED these Christmas decorations/toys of Grandmothers. They learned how to push the button and make them sing and dance. Grandmother had 2 big ones and a Frosty the Snowman (which Kyler did NOT like). They played with them all week while we were there. I just think Grandma's are supposed to have toys like that!!!
Of course, Kate was pretty excited to have some boy cousins who got fun cars for Christmas...
And Kyler was very intrigued by the LIGHT SABERS!!! (I'm pretty sure KG was pretty excited about those also...)
Again, boy cousins are fun when they get big dinosaurs for Christmas... just ask Kyler...
But then again, most cousins like to open and play with their gifts first... before letting the baby cousins get their hands on it. In swoops Grandaddy!
All in all, the girls got so many great gifts. LOTS of cute clothes that I can't wait for them to wear and a few toys also.
The adults actually got gifts also... just no time for pics of those. KG got some beer brewing supplies and I got an awesome pair of Uggs that I love... among many, many other fabulous things!!
And that concluded our week in WO. We had a quick dinner, KG loaded the car IN THE RAIN, and we headed to Gville for Christmas. It was a loooonnnnggg day, and this mama was so ready for bed!
