Pumpkin Patch

Karie & Addie came to town for the day, and we decided to make it an event!

First, the girls got to open their birthday presents (sweater dresses, tights, puffs and mini cabbage patch doll each).

After that, we went to lunch at Mi Cocina (one of the few that's left), and this was the first time the girls actually ate food there! They had a cheese quesadilla and did pretty good.

After lunch, we loaded back into the car and headed to the pumpkin patch where all the fun began...

My backseat... talk about precious cargo!

Bare with me... there are alot of pictures, and my girls weren't really "feeling" a photo shoot this particular day.

Still, my little pumpkins...

This is really pretty good for a pic of the three of us!

Karie and her little pumpkin...

After we had exhausted the pumpkin area, we headed to the back where they had hay bales and some other random pumpkins set up... perfect photo backdrop.

Let's be honest... this should be really interesting next year when we have three moving babies. For now, Addie was the only one who really wanted to cooperate!

Or... me and my girl...

The other one {KM} was on the move...

Of course, when I got them strapped into the wagon, it was all fun and games!

Once we got home and had afternoon naps, it was all fun and games in the backyard with our mini pumpkins...

Yes, EK thought and treated her pumpkin like a ball... by throwing it off the porch over and over. Tough little pumpkin made it though...

I just think this sequence is funny... and very like the girls. Only interested in the thing her sister has...

This pic is the reason I don't want any more babies.

Later in the evening, we went front for a wagon ride. The girls got two boxes in the mail that day with birthday presents and we opened them right there outside.

The first box was from Aunt Marla... and it contained two Disney princess dolls. Brilliant gift, Aunt Marla... these are two very happy little girls!

The other gift was from my sweet friends Drew & Blake... they sent the cutest dresses and they came with these adorable hats!!

What a day!!! We all are going to get a great night's sleep!!!
