The Party Theme

The party was owl themed. I’ve sort of become addicted to owls lately, and this may have pushed me over the edge!

I’m still missing a few pictures of some of the decorations, so this post may get an update at some point.

The invitation…

This is a view into our dining room at the party…

And the yummy food everyone is eating in the above pic…
Brisket Sliders
Mashed Potato Bar (add your own bacon, cheese, sour cream, chives)
Green Chili Mac n Cheese
Regular Mac n Cheese
Fruit Salad
Frito Salad
Campfire Cookies
Chex Mix
Corn Dip & Salsa
Cake Balls!

This was one of my favorite parts of the party decor. I know many times twins are seen as "one"... it just happens when you have two babies at the same time. And it doesn't help that mine are both girls. Since most people who were going to be at the party don't get to spend a ton of time with the girls, I wanted to have something to showcase who each girl is. So, I covered our office doors and made a list on each door for each girl with things about her that are unique to only her. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out!!

Dessert table!!

The girls each had their own cupcake...

My favorite little owl...

And the delicious cake balls made by KG's cousin, Jenna. They are just as tasty as they are pretty. Trust me. I had plenty.

One of my other favorite parts of the party was the bar where I set-up the monthly pictures I had taken of the girls. It turned out pretty cute... I'll have to find a picture!
