ONE YEAR

My loves,

I really can't believe we all made it through this year. This year has been the hardest of my life, by far! I had no idea what I was in store for, and I was naive at how much my life would change. I worry everyday if I am doing the right thing for you both... are you eating enough? Are you eating the right things? Are you sleeping enough? Am I teaching you anything? Do we read enough? The questions go on and on. Most days I'm not sure I'm any better than the day you were born.

I want you to know how much I love you both. And I always will. I am happy you are mine. I can't wait to see you grow up even more. And I can't wait for the day when we can all be the best of friends.

Every month I am amazed at how much you both change. You are the prettiest babies I've ever seen. And you grow so much. And you learn so much. It is awesome.

I think I could get out of control this month... I'm feeling very blessed, overwhelmed, happy, excited... so I'm going to keep these individual parts to a list (the same list I used at your birthday party).

"Spectacular Sleeper Kate" has always slept longer than her sister
has her tongue out alot
says "neight" at horses, but also at dogs...
walks pushing anything she can find... her toy stroller, diaper boxes, the step stool
immediately knocks down any toy towers in her sight
has four teeth
likes to crawl up to me and blow bubbles on my arms and legs
has recently become very particular about what she eats
resembles her mommy
will eat dirt
claps
blows kisses
crawls around carrying toys in her mouth
cries when she sees Molly going outside, and she doesn't get to go too
loves animals, especially puppies and her stuffed animals
