It goes without saying that twin baby girls change your life completely.
In the past, our weeks consisted of work, eating out, seeing friends, shopping, Xboxing, staying up late, A&M games (depending on the season)... really whatever we felt like whenever we felt like it.
Obviously, that is KG & SS life... now we have entered KM & EK life.
October thru the end of the year was a blur... between our moms staying with us, having NO schedule or routine, and the holidays... most days I'm amazed that we made it through.
Then January was here and I was not going to go back to work. Until I went to tell my boss that, and he made an offer I couldn't really say no to.
So we scrambled to find a place for our girls... part-time.
And now it is the end of March, and we are changing things again. But I wanted to make a note of these past 3 months and the craziness that was our schedule.
Monday... I was home with the girls until 1230 and then Miss Kasey came and stayed with them at our house until 430. KG took over until I could get home... usually after 5pm.
Tuesday... The girls and I got up, ready and loaded and went to day care. They spent the day there and I worked from 830 to noon. After noon, I left and had PRECIOUS time to myself... usually that included alone lunch with KG and errands... buying diapers or food for us, maybe a trip to the salon. :)
Wednesday... These days were pretty much the same as Mondays. Miss Kasey came again in the afternoon.
Thursday... The girls went back to daycare on these days. And I went to work for the ENTIRE day. They always seemed such long days.
Friday... OFF! Yay! The girls and I both stayed home all day. We made a trip to Houston one week, and sometimes we just left for weekend trips early.
Crazy, huh? Everyday being different wore me out and I think it made it tough for the girls to get on schedule. Things are changing now... but I just didn't want to forget these first few months.
