This year Valentine's Day was on a Monday, so I was home in the morning. The girls and I spent a little quality time together...
On Monday's, Ms. Kasey comes to watch the girls in the afternoon. Josh showed up a little after her with Valentine's gifts for everyone (well, the girls and Kasey)! Uncle Josh brought each of the girls little Valentine's hippos...
And the girls even napped with them that afternoon...

When I got home that evening, there were gifts for me! I know it seems cliche, but I LOVE the boxes of chocolates... really my favorite thing about Valentine's. And I don't really eat them all. Honestly, I probably only like about 5 of the chocolates, but I LOVE taking a bite of everyone and seeing what's inside. Best ever.
And I had a dozen of these beautiful pink roses...
And KG got his Valentine's Day cookie cake. I've gotten him one most every year, and I almost forgot this year. Luckily Drew reminded me and KG was happy. The key for the cookie cake though... when you pick out what you want on top, pick what has the most icing. :)
KG and I put the girls to bed and ordered Chuy's to go. I went and picked it up and we had a lovely little Valentine's dinner and then watched Life As We Know It. It came out around the time the girls were born, and I really wanted to watch it, so KG rented it for our Valentine's night.
The girls had a great Valentine's day... they got a card and a stuffed animal each from their YaYa & Pappy. GrandMommy and PawPaw sent them each a card in the mail. And they got their hippos from Uncle Josh.
Happy Valentine's Day!
