My loves,
You are both turning into the most fun little girls ever. This month has brought many changes in you both. You are both turning into little talkers and smilers and, thankfully, sleepers. I'm loving getting to know you both... seeing each of your personalities come out. It has been a rough time getting to this point, but everyday is getting easier, and I don't think I could love either of you any more.
You are both so happy in the swing. It always calms you both down, and puts you to sleep shortly after. We had one swing, and we borrowed Caden & Tate's swing for the time being. Its been awesome having two swings. Funny thing... KM, you are always in the one we bought, and EK, you snuggle up in the jungle swing from your cousins.
In the (early) mornings when you wake us up to eat, I go straight in your room to get you both up and change diapers. Your dad warms up the bottles and then comes in to hold whoever go their diaper changed first... usually that is KM. You are the one that wakes us up every morning. EK, you are usually awake, but most mornings it takes you longer to wake up. As soon as I walk in your room and turn on the flower light, you, KM, stop crying instantly. And when I walk over to pick you up, EK, you just smile your sweet little smile as soon as I start talking to you.
You are both soooo happy when laying on the changing table. KM, you just look around and occasionally smile. EK, you chat it up non-stop and smile just as much. Your daddy always jokes that we should just leave you on your changing table all the time because that is where you are the most happy. And speaking of the changing table... you are both wearing size 1-2 diapers, which is a good thing because GrandMother bought you each a HUGE box (252 each) of diapers for Christmas.
Since the beginning of January (and the sleep training), you both sleep from 7pm until sometime between 4 and 6am. This has been great for your daddy and me. The sleep and the quiet evening time is precious. And it isn't even hard to wake up so early when we walk in your room and you are both so happy to see us.

You have definitely started to smile a little more freely in the last week. I call you "Kyler Smiler" and every time I say it, you smile. It melts my heart.
You are eating between 5-6 ounces with every feeding, and you don't waste any time when it is time to eat.
You stare intently at the rattle hanging from your car seat, and it is a great distraction because you don't always love being in your car seat. You are also getting very good at following us around the room.
You like to be difficult when it is diaper changing time... you pull your legs all the way up or extend them straight out.

You almost smile on demand when you can see me or your daddy, you smile. And when we talk to you, you can't stop grinning.
You are eating between 4-5 ounces with every feeding, and you take your sweet time and are never in any hurry to eat.
You talk all the time... I love it. You coo and holler and are sooo serious when you tell us stories. The faces you make just make my eyes water when I watch you.
You are super flexible... which makes changing your diaper so easy.

You bring so much joy to our lives, and we are learning how to enjoy it more and more each day. I can't wait to see what your future holds.
The world is yours.
I love you.
