Sarah's Baby Shower

Last weekend I rode with my mom up to my cousin's (Robert) wife's (Sarah) baby shower. It was themed with yellow rubber ducks and super cute (Sarah knows the baby's sex, but Robert doesn't want to know). They did a theme of salads for food (which was really great... fruit salad, taco salad, pasta salad, tuna salad). AND my cousin came up with alot of fun games for us to play. I didn't win any. My mom and aunt Sherry did... however, Tara (Sherry's daughter) and I believe they were cheating.

My sis and mom and I were all there (color coordinated and all), and this was the best pic I managed to get of the 3 of us...

Now, it was a sweet shower, but there were some weird things that happened. We had the shower at this little church in the middle of nowhere (they actually were having a wedding in the church at the same time... bizarre). Recently this congregation had added on to their parish hall... it was pretty nice, but I was completely thrown by the restrooms. There was a men's and a women's... and this is the women's:I'm just confused at who goes to the bathroom and sits right next to someone else. I guess it gives a whole new dimension to girls going to the restroom together... (P.S. the men's was just like this one...)


Okay. Weird story #2. My mom and I actually got there before anyone else (she was a hostess), so we were just sitting in the car waiting and chatting. Suddenly my mom says, "Wonder who that goat belongs to?" WHAT??!? And sure enough... there is a goat just wondering around the parking lot. And he was still there after the shower. Maybe he was a guest at the wedding...
