shower for a cousin

KG and I spent this past weekend in Dallas. We went up so I could go to a baby shower for his cousin, Jenna, but ended up spending the whole weekend and having a great time!

We got to Dallas on Friday night and had a delicious dinner on the patio with his grandparents. They have two little dogs, so Molly had some fun playmates, too!

Saturday morning KG and I got up to go gift shopping at Babies R Us. We also wanted to go in one and look at all the things we had been reading about. It was really fun. Then we headed back to the house to get ready. KG spent the day with his brother, Shane. I headed to the shower with Mammas and my SIL, Crystal. The shower was so nice... yummy food and TONS of wonderful gifts for Jenna & baby Hudson.

After the shower, Crystal and I made a little trip to Ikea and then we headed to a fun little area which I can't remember the name of. The boys met us for dinner at Mi Cocina (Dallas version) and then we all got ice cream and walked around. There was a live band out and we sat and listened for a while. After that we headed back to Shane & Crystal's and enjoyed their great patio.

Sunday morning, KG & I got up early and headed home. We stopped at BuyBuy Baby in Dallas and it was awesome! KG made me try out all the double strollers and push them around the store. We found one that we liked, so I would consider it a successful trip (after 2 hours in the store). We grabbed some lunch and headed home!

We had such a fun weekend! It was great to get to see everyone!!!
