Groesbeck

KG has been working really hard the last couple of weeks on one of his first big projects... a new playground at Groesbeck's city park. They finished up this week in time for the city's National Night Out. So I went down after work to join in the festivities. All of Noah's were introduced by the Mayor, and then everyone walked down to the playground for the official ribbon cutting ceremony. Then all the kids ran and played (KG & I included)! Groesbeck had a GREAT turnout... there were bounce houses, free swimming at the pool, free hot dogs and cokes, fire trucks, car seat checks, a game warden booth... so many things! It was a fun night and I was so very proud of KG! And I think he was pretty relieved to have the playground completed!

Here is the pic of the Mayor introducing all of the Noah's peeps...

And the ribbon-cutting...

The new basketball courts KG put in... the middle has the city logo! Too cool!

Pics of the playground (the Neutron Spinner is the piece in the front of the pic and is really fun to watch the kiddos play on)...

A look of relief... and playtime on the X-Wave (BTW... it is really fun to play on and I wish they had one of those things when I was little!)...

And we even brought the little Molly for some outdoor play time. She was worn out by the time we left and crashed out on my lap the whole drive home.

And she even made herself a little friend!

Now I totally want to go to Groesbeck and play on that playground! It looks like so much fun! Kudos to KG, and I miss you, Friend.
