Memorial Day

I've been putting this off. There were just too many cute pictures of so many cute kiddos, but I've narrowed it down... somewhat.

To start with, KG and I spent our Memorial Day in Paris, TX where many of his cousins live. It seems to be a good gathering place for everyone because there is a farm where the boys all gather and have the "Gun Olympics"... now, that's not what they call it, I've never actually been before, and I'm not totally sure it is farm they go to, but for the sake of this blog, that's what I'm sticking to. It had rained alot before we got there, so the boys told us gals to just stay at the house on Saturday because it was a rough ride out there... so we listened, and honestly, I'm not that sad that we didn't make it out there. ;)

At any rate KG and I left home around 3pm on Friday. We had made it our mission to drive through Tyler (only slightly out of the way) so we could have dinner at the one and only, Taco Bueno. Now if you know KG and I, then you know we LOVE, LOVE this place, and I couldn't resist the chance.

So, after our delicious dinner, we finally made it to Jay & Gay's house around 930 that evening. And there were babies, babies everywhere! KG waited for a couple of other boys and off they went. Girl time begins.

Saturday was a nice relaxing day, but there was alot going on still. I took the little dog on a walk with Kristen & Caden (who giggled the whole way when he would see Molly running around), we had lots of yummy meals provided by Gay, we bought a pool at the local Wal-Mart and watched all the little kiddos play in it, we walked down to the pier a couple of times... we even had an afternoon workout with Jillian's Shred DVD. And I'm happy to say, it's still hard.

The boys came back on Saturday night and KG and I headed over to stay with Clay & Maurine. We got to see their house and KG had some one-on-one time with Avery & Landry... he's made it his mission to make friends with Avery. I think he made some progress this weekend. It was great to finally see their house, too.

Sunday we got up and went to church. KG and I held Caden for about half of the service... and he was a little wiggle worm, until they played the video of their high school graduates and Caden's eyes were glued to the screen. It was pretty cute and we got some extra lovin time! After service we had some yummy TaMolly's for lunch. More baby time after lunch and the weekend was over!!!

And the pics...

Our sweet little nephew, who loves dogs, with Molly.

Remember KG is trying to make friends with Avery & Landry... he made some progess with Avery, so here he is trying to make buddies with Landry.

Little nephew Caden in the pool... check out those teeth!

This is Kanyon, the sweetest little cuddler you'll ever meet...
and look at those eyelashes, just melt your heart.

Hollee with her 3 kiddos, Lilly, Marlee & Beau... who are total sweethearts and how cute is the train?? Its definitely got to be a work-out... she doesn't need Jillian and the Shred!!!

Attempt at a group shot in the pool... this was about the best pic I got.

And what happens to the pool when the kiddos are in charge...

And no post would be complete with out some Molly love (who wasn't on her best behavior over the weekend, but cute nonetheless)...

A little sunbathing on the pier

Helping KG drive home

All that driving wore her out and she needed a rest... behind my neck!

And if you want to see more cute kiddo pictures, check out the awesome record of the weekend from my sweet SIL, Kristen...

First of all, M and I LOVE Bueno. We used to eat it ALL the time when he'd come visit me in Stillwater. He STILL get excited about it! Looks like a fun weekend! I hate that we could be there. I almost shrieked out loud at the picture of Molly on the pier. She is adorable and I have almost the same picture of my golden retriever from when we were down there two years ago!
