Missing you...

its about that time of year...

the 2 year anniversary of when I fell in love...

i miss the delicious pasta at every meal...

and all the table wine I could get my hands on...

i wish i was there now...

and i wish i could stay forever.

Positano... sitting on the patio, looking out over the beach for a two hour lunch with my sweetie... the way I wish it always was.

Rome... the city, the shops, the sights, the history... every way you turn.

Venice... no car engine sounds, narrow paths, surrounded by water, riding boats as a part of your normal everyday life.

San Gimignano... high on a hill, best gelato EVER, surrounded by the relaxing countryside.

Sorrento... the place on the bay, beautiful sunsets, being serenaded over dinner with my one and only.

I'm not sure if I'm so nostalgic because I think in terms of "this time last year I was... this time 2 years ago I was..." or if it is because I've been working on completely finishing the Italy 2007 scrapbook. I'm a little sad to finish it... I'll have to work on another project, and no matter how fun that will be, it won't be like reliving the best vacation all weekend long. Still, I'm not quite finished. I've saved the two biggest sections, Florence & Rome, for last...
